Senior Bookkeeper/Office Administrator – Full/Part time
We are seeking a motivated Senior Bookkeeper to join our friendly team. Reporting into the General Manager / Director, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities of the role include:
Single Touch Payroll, payroll processing, superannuation reconciliations and year end finalisations. Workcover Returns and incident reporting. Payroll Tax Returns. Admin for employee onboarding (if full time)
Full function Accounts Payable
Full function Accounts Receivable
Inventory receipting and reconciliation
BAS / IAS preparation
Undertake accounting duties and data entry using both Xero and Intuit Quickbooks accounting systems.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Reconciling all bank accounts and credit cards, inter-entity loan accounts and all balance sheet items monthly. Prepare year end files for Group Accountant.
General office admin and support
The successful applicant will be required to:
Assist the General Manager /Director in all aspects of accounting for two entities
Assist other Departments and Management, from time to time, when requested.
What you'll need to succeed
Good positive attitude
The right to work in Australia
Experience in all aspects of Payroll, leave accruals, Payroll tax and SGC
Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliations and BAS Preparation
Experience using Xero, and Microsoft Excel
Experience in Intuit Quickbooks and Servicem8 recommended. Training will be given.
Excellent Communication skills and attention to detail
Willingness to be a team player and embrace new initiatives
Ideally will need to be available to commence within the next few weeks -
