Geelong-Based Role – Growing Business with Multiple Victorian Branches

Mason's is a highly respected and rapidly expanding HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical company, looking to recruit their next Service Manager Guru.

This is a critical leadership role, acting as the bridge between clients, office team, and field technicians. You’ll be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, driving technician performance, and overseeing the seamless coordination of service, breakdowns, and installation works across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical service teams.

Oversee field technician scheduling for all service, breakdown, installation, and project works.

Ensure smooth and professional communication between customers, office staff, and field technicians, maintaining high customer service standards.

Manage materials and equipment ordering to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.

Prepare, estimate, and review quotes for service, maintenance, and installation projects, ensuring accuracy and profitability.

Drive technician productivity to ensure job hours and target margins are consistently achieved.

Monitor, review, and optimize operational workflows and processes to improve efficiency and service outcomes.

Provide support and continual optimization of existing business systems, including Simpro, Tradify, and Xero, ensuring streamlined operations and accurate reporting.

Actively contribute to leadership meetings, supporting business improvement initiatives and long-term growth strategies.

Mentor, coach, and develop field technicians to build a high-performing, collaborative team.

Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies across all activities.

About You:

Strong technical background in HVAC/R, Electrical, Construction or Plumbing (Essential) .

Previous management or supervisory experience within the trades, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing or service industries.

Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Proficient in job management and scheduling systems such as Simpro, Tradify, or similar platforms.

Experience with Xero or other accounting systems is highly regarded.

Strong communication and organizational skills with a customer-first & solutions based mindset.
