The Role
Are you a detail-driven, organised professional with a passion for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re on the lookout for a proactive Administration Assistant to become a key part of our friendly and supportive team in Nambour!
As an Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Nambour office operations. Working closely with our Administration Manager and Officer, you will help ensure everything ticks along efficiently and accurately.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Entering and managing data in our VIPS database
- Processing accounts with precision and care
- Setting up suppliers and generating Purchase Orders
- Supporting volunteer recruitment administration
- Reception duties
- Tackling a variety of ad hoc admin tasks as they arise
This is a permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week) based in our Nambour office, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a general administrative support role and reception duties
- Microsoft Office suite proficiency with intermediate aptitude in Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe and Teams (would be beneficial)
- Exemplary phone manner and a professional attitude which promotes SVdP’s core values
- Developed interpersonal, communication and organisation skills
- Personal aptitude for attention to detail and data accuracy
- Understanding of and commitment to the philosophy of the St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland and an ability to work in accordance with policies and procedures to promote the values and mission of the Society
