With a footprint across eCommerce, retail and an in-house product development and supply chain operation, they’re now focused on scaling their systems, strengthening reporting and tightening controls as the next stage of growth unfolds. Finance plays a central role in how they operate. They’ve already invested in platforms, automation and structure. Now they’re looking to add a Company Accountant who’s ready to step into a visible, hands-on role with variety, responsibility and growth.

The Role

Reporting to a commercially focused Head of Finance, this is a full-spectrum Company Accountant role. You’ll take ownership of key reporting activities, support cashflow and compliance processes, and build strong relationships across the business.

If you enjoy a mix of structure and pace, and want to work in a business where finance is a genuine partner to operations, this role offers the balance. Key responsibilities include:-

Prepare and post monthly journals including accruals, prepayments and provisions

Lead month-end close and assist with year-end processes and audit support

Analyse P&L and balance sheet accuracy, and support preparation of board reports

Process payroll and manage related reconciliations and journals

Reconcile bank, revenue, and inventory transactions across systems

Assist with BAS, FBT and statutory lodgements

Participate in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis

Contribute to process improvement and internal control initiatives

About You

You’re detail-oriented but commercially aware. You want to go deeper than data entry, to understand the drivers behind the numbers and help improve the story they tell. You’re either recently qualified or on the way, and ready to step into a broader role with visibility, variety, and growth.

Skills & Experience

Newly CA or CPA qualified (or currently completing)

Experience in inventory, retail, or multi-entity environments is helpful but not essential

Comfortable with Excel and modern finance platforms

Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving approach

Clear communicator who enjoys collaborating across teams
