Speech Therapists (Junior & Senior) – Subcontractor Roles – Up to $85/hr Flat Rate

Senior Speech Therapist (3+ years experience)
Junior Speech Therapists (1–2 years experience – New Graduates welcome)

Pay Structure:
Junior Therapists (1–2 yrs): $65/hr flat rate
Senior Therapists (3+ yrs): Up to $85/hr flat rate
All positions are subcontractor-based. Therapists are responsible for their own tax and super.
Responsibilities:
For All Therapists:
Assess and manage speech, language, fluency, and swallowing difficulties
Deliver therapy services to NDIS participants of all ages (mostly paediatric)
Develop individualised, evidence-based therapy plans
Maintain clear clinical documentation and reports
Communicate effectively with families and other professionals
Collaborate with our team to ensure excellent participant outcomes
Work primarily with children and adolescents aged 2–16 with minimal verbal communication, pragmatic language difficulties, literacy, or speech/language delays
Deliver evidence-based intervention and communicate progress with families and other stakeholders
Conduct quality assessments and write high-standard reports for monolingual and multicultural clients
Run group therapy programs (with company support)
Provide therapy in community settings such as schools and kindergartens
Liaise regularly with external providers and professionals involved in the participant’s care
Write NDIS progress and review reports
Monitor and document client outcomes
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Therapist:
Train and mentor new graduate therapists to ensure service quality and clinical growth
Supervise junior therapists and review their therapy reports and documentation
Make strategic support plans for junior therapists and guide them during their placements
Evaluate clinical effectiveness of therapy plans developed by juniors and provide constructive feedback
Help the company plan and deliver professional development courses and workshops for junior therapists
✅ Requirements:
Degree in Speech Pathology
Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) – current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
Working With Children Check (WWCC)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
National Police Check
ABN (must have)
Driver’s Licence + Car (for mobile visits)
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
