Our client just 2.5 hours direct train from Melbourne is looking for 1.0 EFT 12 weeks locum speech pathologist July-September/October depending on start date.

Essential: Speech pathologist experienced with an outpatient adult caseload, and desirable with paediatric experience.

Caseload:

• Outpatients (mostly adult, some preschool age paediatric)
• Adult caseload is a combination of neurology (eg stroke, brain injury rehab), general medical, progressive neurological (eg Parkinsons, MS, dementia), potential for some head and neck cancer but no trache or laryngectomy expertise required.
• Paediatric caseload is preschool age, mild-moderate articulation and phonology, stuttering, early language development. Paediatric feeding caseload seen by current Grade 2, opportunities for upskilling if wanted.

The contract would be inclusive of shared hospital accommodation – own room, communal kitchen and facilities shared with other hospital staff (medical, nursing, allied health), may or may not have en suite bathroom.
