An iconic eco-tourism retreat, O'Reilly's has been delighting guests for the past 99 years! As we head into our Centenary celebrations in 2026, we are looking for resourceful and capable handy persons to join our small and dynamic maintenance team on a permanent basis.
Our maintenance team play a vital role in maintaining the comfort, safety and charm of our accommodation and facilities nestled in the lush rainforest of Lamington National Park. From general repairs and preventative maintenance to supporting the grounds and assisting other departments, no two days will be the same in this hands-on and rewarding role. We are a tight-knit team that works closely together to find creative solutions to this unique property.
Experience in hospitality would be an advantage. This on-site role requires on-call shifts.
Our staff accommodation is rustic, comfortable and well priced - a great way to live and work in a pristine environment without the stress and cost of city-living.
The qualities of a successful candidate include:
Has solid handyperson or maintenance experience (hospitality or tourism setting a plus!)
Is practical, resourceful, and enjoys working in a team or independently
Is safety-conscious and takes pride in their workmanship
Is happy to live and work in a remote, close-knit environment
Loves nature and doesn’t mind getting their boots dirty!
Has a positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach
Drivers license required
Guest focus
