About the role

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance & Handyperson to join our team at SGS Home & Garden in Gladstone, Queensland. As a casual role, this position will provide you the flexibility to work around your schedule and other commitments. You will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing the properties we manage, ensuring they are well-kept and presentable for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Perform a variety of general maintenance and repair tasks

Respond promptly to service requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner

Identify and address any issues or areas that require attention before they become major problems

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all work completed

Collaborate with the property management team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a handyperson, maintenance technician, or in a similar role

Proficiency in a range of maintenance and repair skills, including basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to communicate effectively with clients

Commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
