About the role

Join the Apollo Landscaping supplies team as a Retail & Trade Counter Sales professional. This full-time position (First 3 months probation period on a casual basis) is based at Coopers Plains, QLD. We are looking for a motivated and reliable office all-rounder to join our team. If you thrive on variety and bring energy to everything you do, this job is for you. We’re after someone who is enthusiastic, adaptable with a can do attitude . In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and product expertise to both retail and trade customers.

What you'll be doing

Assist customers with product selection, orders and purchases in a friendly and knowledgeable manner

Operate the trade counter, processing sales transactions

Processing purchase orders, invoices, answering customer phone enquiries

Maintain product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new product offerings

Ensure the retail floor and trade counter area are well-stocked, tidy and visually appealing

Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to the management team

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Must have 1 years of experience in a customer service or retail sales role, preferably in the landscaping, hardware or building supplies industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Excellent product knowledge and the drive to continuously learn about new products and industry trends

Confident in handling cash, good numerously and maintaining accurate sales records

Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Enthusiastic, reliable and committed to delivering high standards of work
