Position Title: People & Culture Support Officer
Team: People & Culture (P&C)
Duration: Full Time Fixed Term until the end of August (with potential for extension based on business needs)
Salary: $34.41 per hour ($68,000 per annum full time equivalent)

Position Purpose:
Able Australia is seeking a People & Culture Support Officer to join our team on a temporary full-time basis until the end of August, with the possibility of extension.
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in assisting our wider People & Culture team by managing key administrative and operational tasks. Your contributions will enable our core team members to focus on strategic priorities and system-related responsibilities, ensuring the smooth functioning of our organisation. Key Responsibilities
People Inbox Management
- Monitor and triage emails in the People Inbox.
- Respond to routine queries or escalate as appropriate.
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding items.
Variation Processing
- Assist with processing employment variations including: Roster reviews and changes to employment details
- Ensure accurate documentation and data entry into relevant systems.
Careers Inbox Support
- Manage incoming queries and applications.
- Prioritize and escalate items requiring urgent attention.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Recruitment Administration
- Support compliance checks for recruitment processes.
- Follow up with candidates for required documentation.
- Assist with onboarding preparation and coordination.
Recommended skills and capabilities
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document handling.
- Experience managing shared inboxes and prioritizing high-volume communications.
- Familiarity with HRIS and recruitment platforms
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
- Ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external candidates.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proactive in identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
- Understanding of the sensitive nature of HR information and commitment to confidentiality.
- Willingness to support team members and adapt to changing needs.
