ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re currently seeking a full-time Administration Assistant to join our team!
The role is based at our Head Office in Seventeen Mile Rocks, with a planned move to our brand-new Ipswich office in October 2025.
This position plays a vital role in supporting Strive’s daily operations. You’ll be the go-to person for all things admin — helping internal teams stay organised, coordinating travel and onboarding, assisting with events, and keeping the office running smoothly.
It’s a rewarding and fast-paced role, perfect for someone who’s proactive, tech-savvy, and thrives in an organised and collaborative team environment.
Some of the duties of this role include:
Provide administrative support including ordering supplies, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records
Plan and coordinate work-related functions and events, including organising logistics, communicating with vendors, and managing event setups.
Assist with onboarding tasks such as preparing equipment, ID cards, and welcome packs for new employees
Coordinate travel arrangements for staff, including bookings, allowances, and reimbursements
Oversee facilities and fleet coordination, including keys, vehicles, and equipment tracking
Assist with continuous process improvement and ensure compliance in recordkeeping systems
Support social media and internal communications in collaboration with creative partners
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful applicant will require the following Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Certificate in Business Administration (or similar) or relevant experience
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, team-focused attitude
Desirable:
Previous experience in administration or office coordination
Experience with travel bookings, onboarding, or asset management
Familiarity with social media or internal communications
To gain employment, all applicants are required to have the following mandatory qualifications before commencing:
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card, WWCC) for employees.
• Current Australian National Criminal History Check (within 12 months)
• Current LCS2 clearance (or application upon commencement)
• Current First Aid Certificate (or undertaking to obtain within four weeks)
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
