  • Clerk Grade 9/10 Salary ($125,693 - $138,510 pa), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

Your role

The Coordinator Operational Technology strategically manages technology solutions that support specific Youth Justice day-to-day operations. This includes establishing and overseeing asset registers, establishing and managing lifecycle investment strategies and maintenance and replacement schedules, vendor and contract management, project delivery, and procurement activities.

Operational technology in Youth Justice includes, but is not limited to, CCTV, Body Worn Cameras, X-Ray Body Scanners, Digital Radios, and secure vehicle tracking equipment.

What you'll do

  • Collaborate with DCJ Information and Digital Services (IDS) to ensure Youth Justice operational technologies have seamless alignment with the Enterprise ICT Strategy and architecture, Cyber Security Strategy and requirements, and Data Strategy and information access policies.
  • Coordinate a register of all Youth Justice operational technologies, along with accompanying year on year investment requirements, maintenance schedules, renewal timeframes and replacement strategies.
  • Embed frameworks, strategies, systems and solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing and new vendor supply and support contracts.
  • Provide direction and effective operational management of commercial, contract, risk management, financial related and procurement activities for Youth Justice operational technologies.
  • Manage the ongoing governance and oversight for the efficient use of operational technologies, including contracts, maintenance, staff training and other regulatory requirements.
  • Consult with the Executive Leadership Team, Youth Justice employees, IDS and other stakeholders to prioritise investment opportunities for new technology.
  • Facilitate the implementation of new technologies and develop governance systems to ensure they are utilised safely and consistently across Youth Justice.
  • Provide ongoing support to employees through responding to queries related to technologies managed by this role.

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Current NSW driver's licence with ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW.
