About the role

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients? Oceana Aquatic & Fitness is seeking a dedicated Membership Services professional, with or without Fitness Qualifications, to join our team on a part-time basis at our Hobart, Tasmania location. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalised support to our valued members, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.

What you'll be doing

Assisting members with account inquiries, membership renewals, and programme registrations

Promoting and selling Oceana's range of fitness and aquatic programs and services

Handling member feedback and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner

Providing a warm and welcoming experience for all members and visitors

Supporting the execution of member induction and retention initiatives

If qualified to do so, delivering exercise instruction in individual and group settings

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a membership-focused role, preferably in the health and fitness industry, but not essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and connect with customers

Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail

A passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals

Availability to work a flexible part-time schedule, including occasional evenings

Work from home options are also available.

Qualifications in Fitness would be desirable but not essential. We will help you achieve this if required.
