Bright Minds is looking for an enthusiastic educator to join our dynamic team and to assist in teaching our School Readiness Program and Primary School Tutoring Sessions. We are a nurturing learning centre that supports the learning journey of our students from Pre-kindy to Year 6. We teach essential skills that prepare young leaners for big school by nurturing confident, curious and capable learners through hands on activities that encourage learning through play. We aim to help build the social, emotional, cognitive and physical foundations children need whilst focusing on their numeracy and literacy skills to build confidence in their learning.

Key responsibilities as a School Readiness Teacher:

Deliver engaging, play-based lessons aligned with the EYLF

Deliver early literacy, numeracy and motor skills, and social-emotional lessons

Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Work collaboratively with other teachers in a team

Track children's progress and support their transition to school

Build confidence and a love for learning in preschool aged children

Key responsibilities as a Primary School Tutor:

Deliver tutoring sessions aligned with the NSW curriculum

Support students in Primary School in their literacy and numeracy skills

Build positive relationships with students to foster confidence, engagement and a love for learning

Track student progress and tailor lessons to individual learning needs

Requirements:

Recognised Primary Teaching Qualification or Early Childhood Qualifications.

Strong understanding of the NSW curriculum and EYLF

Experience working with children under 12 years in a classroom environment

WWCC and First Aid certification

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Ability to make learning fun, supportive, and effective
