About the role
Join the dedicated team at Northern Health as an Occupational Therapist - Grade 2 - Paediatrics. This full-time role is based in Craigieburn and will see you making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
What you'll be doing
Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments and interventions for paediatric clients with a range of needs, including developmental delays, physical disabilities, and mental health conditions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualised treatment plans
Support clients and their families through the rehabilitation process, ensuring their goals and needs are at the forefront
Participate in clinical supervision, professional development, and team meetings to continuously improve service delivery
Contribute to the overall operations of the paediatric occupational therapy department
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration
Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist, with a focus on paediatrics
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities to tailor interventions to individual client needs
Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, evidence-based approach to practice
