Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

Court Services Victoria is delivering a new state-of-the-art court facility for Melbourne's rapidly growing west.
The Wyndham Law Courts will be the largest court complex outside of the central business district, bringing together the Magistrates' Court of Victoria, the Children's Court of Victoria and the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) with specialist courts and services.
About the role:
The role will provide Specialised technical Support and Service to ensure operational service delivery requirements for the new Wyndham Law Courts (WLC) are met.
The role will proactively support internal users including Judiciary, VCAT Members, staff from CSV jurisdictions, and external tenant agencies, in all aspects of Digital Technology.
This role includes both day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) support and business-prioritised solutioning, Integration and management work.
Part of this role may involve travel to other court locations or other facilities that need ICT support throughout the state of Victoria.
Key accountabilities include:
- Serving as the initial point of contact in respect of all technology for judicial officers and judicial support staff, providing technical support for all things relating to AV/VC hardware and software, Digital Wayfinding Technologies, Corporate Desktop and networking infrastructure,
- User Desktop support for Court-supported applications and tertiary applications such as Zoom, Webex and Office 365 products.
- Proactively identifying and monitoring suitable opportunities to enhance current courtroom and corporate technology practices and procedure with existing and up-and-coming offerings (enlisting business process engineering techniques and continual process improvement approaches).
- Prioritising and resolving courtroom AV/VC issues, as well as liaising serious in-court technology issues with appropriate support teams and stakeholders
- Informing stakeholders of issues, and logging, monitoring, and following up on service desk interactions.
- Maximising availability, reliability, and security as it relates to AV/VC in courtrooms and corporate computing environments.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically proficient, has attention to detail and loves problem solving in a fast high-pressure environment. If you enjoy working independently with multiple types of technology, dynamic working environments, establishing relationships internally and externally and working within a small team this is a strong opportunity.
- Proven experience in problem solving, technical escalation and supporting continuity in high stakes or time sensitive environments
- Demonstrated experience in a wide range of technologies, IT systems, desktop and mobility support, technical troubleshooting and engaging with vendors
- Demonstrated experience working within a small team whilst juggling multiple priorities and independent problem-solving capabilities
- Proven experience working in multiple workplace locations as part of this role may involve travel to and working from different locations within Victoria
