Queensland Commercial Projects Pty Ltd is a fresh face in Commercial Construction on the Gold Coast who has hit the ground running.

As our name suggests, we are a Commercial Construction company and we focus on Education, Local Government and Industrial works.

We are seeking either an experienced Site Supervisor or an experienced Carpenter/Leading Hand/Foreman who has had experience with Supervising and is looking to step up into a Site Supervisor role.

Key Responsibilities:

Tender: Attending tender meetings and assisting with estimating projects.

Supervision: You will be hands on which means overseeing site activities, leading teams and managing Contractors.

Project Management: developing project programs, managing budgets, ensuring EOT’s and Variations are captured.

Communication: updating Superintendents, Clients, project team and addressing any concerns.

WHS: Ensuring sites are compliant and in line with company expectations.

Leadership: Take control of your projects to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.

Requirements:

Professionalism, punctuality & reliability always.

The ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Technical construction knowledge, and the desire to want to constantly learn.

Excellent problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to think critically and find practical solutions

Some exposure to estimating and be willing to jump in and help when required.

General knowledge in WHS.

Trade background is essential, preferably in carpentry.

Significant experience in Site Management.

White card.

Drivers Licence.

Computer literacy (able to use Microsoft suite).
