
Project Officer - Maintenance Assurance and Property Condition

THE ROLE
In this ongoing role, reporting to the Manager of the Acquisition & Divestment team, you'll assess the property condition of existing and newly acquired properties along with ensuring compliance of Homes Victoria's maintenance contracts. Day-to-day your responsibilities will include:
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Identify and report on property condition through desktop and on-site property inspections, initiate necessary maintenance works through Homes Victoria contractors and track works to completion.
- Prepare detailed reports on property condition, including works required to meet Government standards.
- Ensure appropriate maintenance processes are undertaken, measured against agreed contractual and service delivery standards.
- Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring, or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.

- Problem Solving: You ask the right questions, brings others in when needed, and work to find the right solution, following through and adjusting as required.
- You're confident interpreting the NCC and Australian Standards, and you've got a full driver's licence to get where you need to be whether it's a site visit or meeting.
