There is an exciting opportunity to join the City of Yarra Traffic team as the Senior Project Officer – Road Safety Planning and Project Management.
You will play an important role in leading the delivery of Council’s Road Safety Studies or similar type traffic management related studies. This will include the planning, review, design and financial management of key traffic and road safety projects and initiatives delivered by Council. You will also provide expert advice to colleagues across the organisation to help achieve positive road safety, accessibility and streetscape outcomes for Council and the community.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team player with a collaborative skill set. You will have experience in resolving complex technical issues with high community interest, both autonomously and within a dynamic team and organisation environment. You will need to be a good communicator and be able to negotiate good outcomes for Council and the community.
