About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources Manager to join a a close-knit HR team in a leading transport and logistics company based in Sale, Victoria, where you'll manage all aspects of human resources across the business. If you thrive in a fast-paced operational environment and bring a strong background in managing blue-collar teams, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day HR operations across multiple depot locations

Provide expert support in employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning

Coordinate and manage Return to Work programs and WorkCover claims

Maintain compliance with Fair Work, transport industry awards, and safety legislation

Partner with site managers to build positive and productive teams

Review and maintain employment contracts, policies, and procedures

Drive a culture of safety, respect, and open communication

What You'll Bring:

Proven HR experience, ideally in transport, logistics, or another blue-collar industry

In-depth knowledge of compliance, Fair Work obligations, and WorkCover processes

Confidence dealing with complex employee matters and return-to-work cases

Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you'll be working closely with drivers, depot managers, and executive leadership

A practical, solutions-focused approach

HR qualifications are desirable
