The Opportunity

As a new developed position, this role presents an exciting opportunity to use your expertise to shape organisational planning at Murray PHN.

You will lead the integration of company-wide planning, monitoring, and reporting processes that support our strategic objectives. You’ll work closely with the Director Planning, Engagement and Insights and the Senior Leadership Team to cascade strategic priorities across the organisation.

Key Accountabilities

Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish effective integrated planning across the organisation that aligns with strategic goals.

Lead and facilitate planning, monitoring, and reporting processes that track the implementation and impact of key organisational plans and activities.

Support the Strategic Plan delivery by monitoring progress and identifying areas needing greater focus.

Lead small project teams and working groups to achieve organisational planning and reporting objectives.

Champion continuous improvement across organisational planning and performance reporting processes.

Oversee and lead business analytics functions.

Manage and lead employee development and performance, enabling cross-functional collaboration.

About You

You are a strategic thinker who thrives in complex environments, enjoys leading teams, and is motivated by making a meaningful impact on the health sector.

Key Capabilities

Relevant qualification in business or a related field with a minimum five years’ relevant experience.

Demonstrated experience in project management or strategic planning with practical application of complex principles.

Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans and reporting results to Executive and Board level.

Proven management capabilities in complex environments, leading teams and engaging stakeholders.

Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills with experience in project governance.

About Murray Primary Health Network

Albury, NSW, Australia

Murray PHN (Primary Health Network) commenced on 1 July 2015 as a part of the national network of 31 PHNs across Australia, which replaced the Medicare Local program.

Murray PHN works closely with the health system to identify areas to improve, either through the better coordination and support of health services or by commissioning new services to address needs.

The catchment of Murray PHN is significant in both size and diversity. Spanning northern Victoria, and including Albury, NSW, the Murray PHN covers an area of almost 100,000 square km and it will impact health services that are accessed by more than 563,000 people.

The Australian Government has identified national objectives and priority areas for PHNs. These frame the focus of Murray PHN and will be guided by both community and clinical input to improve health outcomes.
