About the role

Fixed term temporary full time opportunity to be a part of an inter-professional, collaborative multidisciplinary team, this role will deliver senior level, specialist clinical, evidence-based Occupational Therapy within acute medical, surgical and orthopaedic wards and older person's care services at Redcliffe Hospital.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Support the comprehensive and efficient delivery of care through negotiating care components with other providers as required.
  • Provide high level clinical advice to members of the multidisciplinary team, service managers and other stakeholders regarding service delivery and clinical service development.
  • As required, assume responsibilities for clinical education for pre-entry level clinical students and co-ordinate clinical education programs through liaison with universities and district therapists and act as a resource person for issues as they relate to student clinical supervision.
