Our clinics are led by one very passionate Director and an amazing, dedicated team of therapists, offering a range of disciplines including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Allied Health Assistant and Counselling.
Inside Out Therapy has two purpose-built clinics based on the northside of Brisbane and one on the way - sharing our one big goal – provide quality and meaningful support to children, teens and families who are Neurodivergent to support each individual to live an authentic and healthy life. Inside Out is committed to evidence based practise as well as quality and consistent care for clients as young as toddlers through to adolescence. Inside Out is a Neurodiverse Affirming service provider that empowers neurodivergent children and their families through respectful therapy services that celebrate Neurodiversity.
Adopting a family centred and coaching approach, Inside Out tailors it’s service to the unique and diverse needs of its clients. Inside Out pulls strategies from various treatment frameworks such as Sensory Integration, Motor Skills Acquisition, Play Therapy, Routines Based Intervention, DIR Floortime, Trauma Informed Care, the PolyVagal Theory and Neurodevelopmental Treatment.
Providing both centre based and mobile services, Inside Out, is looking for a qualified Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist, with the clinic's vision of, making way to pioneer a unique integrated therapy approach - parents and kids receiving the support they need at the same time by a team of like-minded therapists

Duties and Responsibilities:
Bringing your experience, you will become the known clinical support of ‘wisdom and knowledge’ to other therapists - while modelling an approachable, encouraging and collaborative manner to all things clinical!
With your sense of passion for the Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist Role, you will be able to think outside the box and develop new and efficient procedures and processes to support our growing team of amazing therapists to deliver even better therapy services!
You will support a small caseload of clients through weekly or fortnightly appointments offering play-based, relationship-focused and neurodiverse affirming approaches to build the child's capacity for self regulation, independence in daily routines, having authentic and meaningful relationships with others, participation in learning occupations and develop a positive and genuine sense of self
Assessment and developing individualised treatment plans for your clients
Support little people to develop their capacity for improved emotional, attentional and sensory regulation
Engage your little clients in a play-space rather than a small clinic room sitting at a desk!
You will see no more than six clients per day across 4 days per week. Your day will be made up of appointments on the hour, 8am, 9am, 10am, 1pm, 2pm and 3:15pm - each appointment runs for 50 mins each. Leave each day no later than 4:30pm!
You will closely with a passionate multi-disciplinary team including; speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, counsellors and allied health assistants
You will use a range of standardised, informal and observational assessments to gather information to plan meaningful and effective therapy plans
You will work closely with families on their therapy journey. This is a role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children - you won't write endless reports you will be focused on therapy!
You will liaise with external stakeholders to ensure what you do in the clinic can be utilised in the child's everyday contexts
About you:
Completion of an Occupational Therapy degree
Registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
Experience with working with a Paediatric caseload
Have a strong commitment to learning and growing as an individual and as a clinician through truly rewarding and complex work with children and families
Have a real passion for working with clients who are Neurodivergent, preferably with some experience in working with Autism, ADHD and/or trauma
Adaptable and flexible in order to meet the clinics needs and expectations
Fun, bubbly and prepared to bring your passion for working with children to work each day
Have a car and driver’s licence
