Job description:

The business concentrates on Landscape Maintenance over the summer months, and Landscape construction/ Project work over the winter.

Summer duties include; mowing and edging of lawns, hedging, weeding, lopping and pruning of trees, irrigation maintenance and other various maintenance tasks. Occasional turf laying over the spring and summer also.

Winter duties include less frequent landscape maintenance tasks, but more variety of Landscape construction, irrigation and softscape tasks.

Prerequisites:

Reliable

Living in the Upper Hunter region - Specifically Scone and surrounds

A genuine interest in horticulture and the landscaping industry

Good work ethic

Well presented and great eye for detail

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Great communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently

Willingness to learn and progress

Drivers License

No experience necessary but preferred (training provided) opportunity for course training i.e. chem cert, chainsaw cert, irrigation etc. for the right candidate

Desired qualifications would be a Cert II or above in Horticulture, Landscape Construction or Parks and Gardens

Starting casual 4-5 days per week, extended to permanent part time/full time for the right candidate.

Paid above award wage under Gardening and Landscaping Award [MA000101]

Own transport and drivers license required
