Lecturers employed in 2025 are eligible to receive a Temporary Regional Incentive of $15,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE). Eligible lecturers will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at NRTAFE, with the remainder paid on the anniversary of start date. Lecturers must remain employed in the location for 12 months to be eligible to receive the second payment.
About the role
We are seeking experienced and innovative individuals to join North Regional TAFE as a Lecturer Civil Construction.
The Lecturer Civil Construction is a lecturing position and you will be delivering training and assessment for RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations and RII30920 Certificate II in Civil Construction and or other related RII Resource and Infrastructure Industry Training Package this includes both theory and practical learning activities.
Relevant Qualifications and Experience
To be eligible for employment, you must have:
1. Significant relevant industry/ vocational or lecturing experience (at least 5 years’ experience in Civil Construction Plant Operations)
2. Relevant vocation qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:
RII30820 Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations
RII30920 Certificate II in Civil Construction and or other related RII Resource and Infrastructure Industry Training Package
It is preferred that applicants already possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or can demonstrate willingness or progression towards achieving it.
Having a High Risk Work Safe Assessor Accreditation and/or Traffic Management Main Roads WA Accreditation will be highly regarded.
If you have experience delivering relevant and engaging training in a classroom and workplace settings to a diverse range of students, sound verbal and written communication skills, good administration skills including using Microsoft Office products and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team we want to hear from you!
