We are establishing an appointment pool for Lecturer Business.

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made for vacancies that arise in the next 24 months. We may offer permanent, fixed term, full-time, part-time or casual appointments, with the possibility of a further term and/or permanency.

We have one permanent full-time role in Pundulmurra and one permanent full-time role in Karratha available for immediate appointment.

We are seeking experienced and innovative individuals to join North Regional TAFE as a Lecturer Business to share your passion with the next generation.

We have current demand for people with qualifications and experience in the following areas:

Business

Work Health and Safety

Project Management Practice

Leadership and Management

Human Resource Management

As the Lecturer Business, you will be delivering training and assessment for Skillsets, BSB20120 Certificate II Workplace Skills, BSB30120 Certificate III in Business, BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business or other related BSB Training Packages this includes both theory and practical learning activities.

Relevant Qualifications and Experience

To be eligible for employment, you must have:

Significant relevant industry/ vocational or lecturing experience (at least 5 years’ experience in Business

Relevant vocation qualifications and/or competencies at least to the level to be delivered and assessed including:

BSB20120 Certificate II Workplace Skills

BSB30120 Certificate III in Business

BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business

BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice

BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management

BSB41419 Cert IV Work health and safety

BSB51319 Diploma of Work Health and safety

BSB40420 Certificate IV in Human Resource Management

It is preferred that applicants already possess a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or can demonstrate willingness or progression towards achieving it.

There is a minimum qualification required to deliver accredited Vocational Education and Training (VET) as defined by the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 (Standards), or its successors. The current minimum qualification required is TAE40122/TAE40116/TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education or a secondary teaching qualification with one of the following credentials (TAESS00011/TAESS00019 Assessor Skill Set or TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set).

Applicants who do not yet hold the minimum required VET credentials are still eligible to apply, however North Regional TAFE will require the successful candidate to be enrolled, and have commenced training in, an approved training and assessment credential and record satisfactory progress to enable the credential to be completed within two years from commencement.

If you have experience delivering relevant and engaging training in a classroom and workplace settings to a diverse range of students, sound verbal and written communication skills, good administration skills including using Microsoft Office products and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team we want to hear from you!
