BYDA is looking for a skilled and motivated web content and intranet administrator. The position is in the Before You Dig Australia marketing team and is responsible for the corporate website, the member portal and the organisational intranet.

The marketing team advises on best practices and provides recommendations on delivering digital content.

The role is responsible for new content updates and publishing information across multiple content management platforms.

Develop new pages, setup/configure information architecture and functionality components as well as load and update content and images.

Content Management System Digital Asset management of all digital content, requiring manipulation of:

text pieces,

video,

pdf,

images,

associated graphic assets.

Provide recommendations for layout to maximise page conversion and maintain accessibility requirements and web best practices.

Ensure UI consistency across all web pages.

Ensure quality of content, including eliminating duplicate content and maintaining site integrity.

Work with other content stakeholders to coordinate content publishing onto the website and other content management platforms.

Decipher technical issues and then communicate them clearly and in an understandable fashion to a non-technical audience.

Requirements

3+ years' experience in content or website management.

Proficient in website presentation best practices, editorial style and standards.

Demonstrated experience managing website content updates and publishing/editorial workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio demonstrating previous experience with:

Word Press

SharePoint

WCAG 2.2 Compliance standards

HTML, XHTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, PHP

Photoshop

Google Analytics, LookerStudio

Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Digital Media, Communications or related field preferred

Must have permanent Australian work rights or appropriate visa to work in Australia
