Austcorp Executive are currently partnering with a leading Australian owned company specialising in the design and manufacture of specialised Transport Equipment for the mining, agricultural and general freight industry.

Due to the companies exciting growth they are looking to recruit a Senior Draftsperson to join their team in their new workshop in Perth.

Your day - to day responsibilities will include:

• Create accurate and detailed CAD drawing for new custom-built equipment and repair and or modification works
• Work with junior drafters and help with queries
• Assist in R&D to develop best quality design whilst continuing to support the ongoing development of new and existing products
• Interpreting and implementing design direction to create accurate and detailed CAD drawings
• Effective administration of Design/ Drafting documents and applicable data
• Effectively format, Workshop drawing, Fabrication Layout, Cutting Schedules, Bills of Materials (BOM)
• Assist with investigation and answer manufacturing questions as required

Skills and Experience

• 3 - 5 + Years Mechanical Design and Drafting Experience
• Experience with the design of Trucks and Trailers (Highly Desirable)
• Experience with Inventor and AutoCAD software
• Experience/ training in drawing to AS1100
• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Drafting Design
