Are you a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic looking to stay local and make a real impact? True Bolt Mechanical, based in Bunbury, WA, is looking for someone like YOU to join our workshop team. If you’re passionate about maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and equipment—and prefer working in a fully-equipped, workshop-based environment—we want to hear from you!

Our workshop is conveniently located in the Bunbury LIA, and this position is workshop-based only.

What You’ll Do:

Diagnose and repair faults in a range of heavy machinery, including cranes, civil, trucks/road transport and mining equipment.

Carry out scheduled maintenance to keep equipment running at its best.

Provide expert advice on preventative maintenance.

Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records.

Work safely and adhere to all industry safety regulations.

Working with apprentice.

Collaborate with a friendly, knowledgeable team to ensure smooth workshop operations.

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualifications in heavy vehicle or equipment mechanics (e.g., Cert III or IV in Automotive Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology).

Solid hands-on workshop experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic.

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Ability to work independently and manage your workload.

Great attention to detail and a methodical approach.

Good communication skills and a team player mindset.

Commitment to safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.

A great sense of humour and positive attitude is a must!

Must be able to supply own tools
