Assistant Facility Manager - Aged Care - North Brisbane

We are on the lookout for a business focused individual, ideally with Aged Care/ Healthcare experience to join a reputable aged care provider in QLD.

You will assist the current Facility Manager with the day to day operations of the aged care facility.

If you have experience in both hospitality and hotel services this could be your ideal role!

Overview

Support the Facility Manager with the day to day running of the home

Monday - Friday role normal business hours

You will act up into the FM role when required

Future opportunities to step up into an FM role as this provider likes to promote internally

$90-$95k + super (reviewed after probation)

Duties

Keeping on top of stocks and supplies for hotel services within the facility

Providing tours of the facility to families and potential residents

Overseeing housekeeping and hospitality (kitchen) operations

Workforce planning and rostering

Onboarding of new staff

Ensure that all staff have the mandatory training required to fulfil their role

Requirements

Business Qualification - highly desirable

Previous experience working int he healthcare sector - highly desirable

An understanding of the Aged Care Standards - highly desirable

Strong with their leadership skills, confident in your ability to give firm directive to your team

Experience in hospitality (kitchen) and hotel services (housekeeping) is required

Ability to liaise with staff across all levels as well as residents and families
