We are looking for a people focused, relational, and outcome driven HR professional who will lead and manage all aspects of our HR function, fostering a positive workplace culture and building capacity within our team that aligns with our organisation’s strategic goals.

Key responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all HR matters, providing guidance on people management, culture development and employee engagement.
Capacity Building: Build the capacity of our leaders regarding HR best practice and enhance HR systems, processes, and tools.
Talent Management & Development: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, ensuring we attract and develop top talent. Develop and implement learning and development programs to build internal leadership and skillsets.
Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture through proactive employee relations, conflict resolution, and effective communication strategies.
Performance Management: Lead and implement performance management systems to help employees reach their full potential and align their goals with organizational objectives.
Organizational Development: Support the organization in adapting to growth, market demands, and evolving business needs.
Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that all HR practices comply with regulations and align with industry best practices.
Key Selection Criteria:
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a HR leadership role preferable within the construction or manufacturing industry
Relevant Tertiary qualification
Strong knowledge and demonstrated implementation of HR best practices, award interpretation, employee and industrial relations and compliance
Leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
Demonstrated ability to implement new initiatives and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and collaboration across departments.
High attention to detail
Workcover and return to work experience
Current drivers licence essential
