Indicative Annual Package range of $115,409.20 to $121,025.20 which includes annual allowances (conditions apply).
Starting salary is negotiable, dependent on skills and experience.
Other benefits include super matching scheme, and 6-weeks annual leave.
Shire housing is not provided with this position.
About the Position
We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Health Officer to join our Regulatory Services team in Onslow.
In this varied and community-facing role, you'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of environmental health services that help protect and promote public health across the Shire. From inspecting food businesses and accommodation providers to investigating health complaints and assessing wastewater systems, your work will have a direct and meaningful impact on the community.
The role also involves water quality monitoring, mosquito management, and supporting public events to ensure health compliance. You'll enjoy the opportunity to work autonomously, collaborate with local stakeholders, and contribute to important health programs in a unique and evolving regional context.
This position offers a competitive remuneration package and six weeks' annual leave. All terms and conditions are as per the Shire of Ashburton Enterprise Agreement 2022.
