As the Change and Transition Manager, you'll be the driving force behind operational stability and continuous improvement across key IT service functions. You'll lead the evolution and implementation of frameworks that define how change is introduced, managed and embedded; ensuring governance, efficiency and strong service outcomes.
What you'll do:
- Designing, implementing, and evolving robust Change Management and Transition Management frameworks; covering processes, responsibilities, communication models and service governance.
- Leading all aspects of the change lifecycle: chairing CABs, owning change schedules, setting SLAs and producing RACI-based communication plans.
- Partnering with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure operational readiness, smooth transitions and minimal disruption to live environments.
- Creating detailed documentation, training resources, SOPs and enablement materials to support long-term success.
- Championing continuous improvement by driving process enhancements, evaluating performance, identifying training needs and embedding ITIL best practices.
What You'll Bring:
- 10+ years' experience in IT environments, with at least 5 years in Change or Transition Management roles.
- Demonstrated people leadership and coaching experience, with a focus on uplifting capability and driving accountability.
- Deep experience across cloud platforms, SaaS, and enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels; internal and external.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, Project).
- ITIL Foundation v3 or v4 (essential)
- Prince2 or similar qualifications (desirable)
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills and with a bias toward action and clarity.
