We are currently seeking a Junior Fund Accountant to join a reputable and dynamic financial services team based in the Sydney CBD. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong fund experience to take on a hands-on contract role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations
• Perform daily bank and cash reconciliations
• Support the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting
• Monitor fund activity, including cash movements, trade settlements, and expenses
• Provide month-end support to the finance team
• Maintain and update fund records and documentation
• Conduct data entry and transaction processing
• Assist with audit preparation and queries

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A degree or formal qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of Fund Accounting experience, ideally within financial services
• Sound knowledge of general accounting principles
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and time management skills
