We are seeking a Qualified Accountant to play a key role in implementing SOX controls and support an existing finance function. This role has come available due to the business entering a pivotal transformation phase, following a recent acqusition by a US-listed business.

This is a unique opportunity for a recently qualified CA/CPA (or close to completion) with an audit background who’s keen to step out of practice and into a hands-on commercial role. Ideal for someone who wants to build experience across both controls implementation and management accounting within a high-growth business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in documenting and evaluating internal controls in line with SOX requirements
• Partner with process owners to ensure evidence and documentation meets audit standards
• Conduct control testing, prepare remediation plans, and track progress
• Coordinate walkthroughs and compliance reviews with internal/external auditors
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and board packs

About You:

• CA/CPA qualified or near completion
• Background in external audit (Big 4 or mid-tier preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial processes and internal controls
• Proficient in Excel; experience with NetSuite, SAP, or similar ERP
• Excellent communication, organisation, and attention to detail

Desireable:

• Exposure to SOX frameworks or US GAAP (professional or academic)
