About the role
The Jobs and Skills Administration Assistant provides information and is a point of contact for clients contacting or visiting the Jobs and Skills Centre (JSC) – including students, jobseekers and career changers. It will provide a responsive service to Aboriginal people, culturally diverse clients, youth, and people with disabilities.
The Jobs and Skills Administration Assistant is responsible for providing quality client and administrative support, including customer service to internal and external clients. The person in this role will also engage with the local community and industry to help build local prosperity.
The Jobs and Skills Administration Assistant registers and books appointments for specialist career, training and employment services. They also organise group workshops and provide administrative support to the Jobs and Skills Centres.
