Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Social Media Manager & Content Creator to oversee our organic social media channels and lead content development for paid media campaigns. You’ll be responsible for crafting compelling, on-brand content, managing engagement, and helping to scale our digital presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube.
This role is both creative and strategic—you'll be working closely with our Marketing Manager to optimise ad campaigns and with our Creative Director to map out monthly and quarterly marketing schedules. You’ll also ensure that all content, from emails to paid ads, flows cohesively with campaign messaging.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with brand objectives, product launches, and promotional campaigns.
Create engaging, high-quality content—including graphics, Reels/TikToks, YouTube Shorts, photography, and written captions.
Manage and grow Mud Organics’ organic social media platforms, fostering an engaged and loyal community.
Curate monthly campaigns and manage collaborations with influencers, UGC creators, brand ambassadors, and affiliates.
Create ad-ready video and visual assets for paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and other digital platforms.
Monitor trends across beauty, wellness, and social media to keep our content fresh, relevant, and high-performing.
Actively engage with our online audience by responding to DMs, comments, and resharing user-generated content.
Use analytics tools to monitor content performance and paid ad metrics—adjusting strategy based on data and insights.
Collaborate with the digital and marketing team to ensure alignment across all touchpoints—social, ads, email, and web.
Boost or promote content when necessary to increase visibility and performance.
Must be conformtable in front of camera
Qualifications & Skills
2+ years experience in social media management and content creation (beauty or wellness experience highly regarded).
Strong understanding of both organic social media growth and paid advertising strategy.
Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar tools for graphic design and video editing.
Excellent copywriting skills with a brand-aligned voice across platforms.
Analytical mindset—comfortable tracking KPIs, engagement, and ad performance to refine strategy.
Highly organised and proactive with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
