About the Position
We are looking to welcome a Program Coordinator to provide leadership, consultation, assessments, advice and input that will provide better outcomes for children and families referred for child protection concerns.
- Full time position.
- Government funded until 31 December 2025 with the possibility of extension.
- Level 7 under the SCHCADS Salary range is $119,094 - $124,074 + Super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team to deliver high quality outcomes within a performance planning and development culture.
- Actively participate in activities including meetings of ASC members and key stakeholders.
- Provide expert opinion, guidance, advice, assessments and consultation on referrals, processes and service connections as part of the ASC team.
- Respond as part of the ASC team on referrals.

About You
- A tertiary degree in a relevant discipline (allied health, social work, psychology).
- At least 5 years’ experience working with children, young people and their families who have been impacted by trauma or have experienced abuse and neglect, or more than five years’ experience working in similar roles.
- An ability to lead and build a strong, cohesive team in alignment with Act for Kids’ values.
- Demonstrated specialist skills in at least one of the following areas drug and alcohol, mental health, family and domestic violence, child development.

- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
