About the role

We are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide person centered support for our client living in Hawthorn.
We are looking for applicants who have experience providing support for clients with Brain Injuries and/or have experience working with high and complex care clients and behaviour management. Previous experience in Aged Care is also valuable.

You must be able to commit to the following shift times ongoing -

• Tuesday 06:30 - 12:00 and Friday 06:30 - 17:00 weekly
• Sunday shift every 4 weeks 06:30 - 13:00

Your key responsibilities

Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers who can undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Manual Handling
• Personal Care
• Medication Administration
• Community Engagement and Social Support
• Domestic Assistance
• Positive Behaviour Support

About you

To join our team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Full South Australian Driver's Licence and reliable car
• NDIS Workers Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid certification
• Current CPR certification
• Manual Handling certification
• Assist with Medication Certification
• English fluency - verbal and written
• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent

We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
