About the role
We are seeking Disability Support Workers to provide person centered support for our client living in the Adelaide CBD.
We are looking for applicants who are available for afternoon shifts and have experience providing support for clients with Brain Injuries or have experience working with complex care clients and behaviour management.
We are looking for staff who are available for short shifts across Monday to Fridays, especially Wednesdays 1430-1730. Other shift times vary between 1300- 1900.
Your key responsibilities
Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Workers who can undertake the following key responsibilities:
- Community Engagement and Social Support
- Domestic Assistance
- Positive Behaviour Support
- Supporting the client with activities at home and out in community
About you
To join our team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
- Full South Australian Driver's Licence and reliable car
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid certification
- Current CPR certification
- Manual Handling certification
- Assist with Medication Certification
- English fluency - verbal and written
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent required
We are also looking for someone with great communication skills, who works well in a team, has a caring and supportive nature, and is client-focused.
