🔧 About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on role operating our industry-leading Durst and Canon wide format printers. You’ll be responsible for running both roll-to-roll and flatbed machines, making sure every job is completed on time, at the right quality, and with minimal downtime.

You won’t be prepping files or working in prepress. Your focus is on machine operation, print production, and meeting targets.

Key duties include:

Operating high-end Durst and Canon large format printers (roll-to-roll and flatbed)

Running multiple print jobs in a fast-paced wide-format production environment

Working independently with a strong focus on efficiency and quality

Supporting daily maintenance, print room housekeeping, and finishing tasks

Contributing to process improvement projects to help streamline production

Working a consistent morning shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday to Friday

🔑 Responsibilities

As a hands-on digital print operator, your responsibilities will include:

Operating and maintaining large format digital printers (flatbed and roll-to-roll)

Setting up print runs from our automated prepress

Running cleaning cycles, purges, and completing daily maintenance

Troubleshooting issues and escalating when needed

Meeting daily production KPIs and quality standards

Supporting continuous improvement and production efficiency

Performing weekly/monthly maintenance tasks

Receiving and managing stock deliveries

Assisting with finishing, stock and general production tasks

✅ What You Need To Have

This role has non-negotiable requirements. Please do not apply unless you meet all of the following:

At least 1 year experience operating wide or large format printers

Full, permanent Australian work rights (no sponsorship or temporary visas)

Live within 45 minutes of Derrimut VIC — no relocation or petrol allowance

Able to pass a National Police Check

Mechanically minded and confident working on computers and print systems
