Turnkey is a leader in Industrial Trades Services, specialising in manufacturing, processing and infrastructure. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal structures and components to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals and structures.

Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively.

Conduct inspections to ensure weld quality, strength, and precision.

Repair and modify metal structures as required.

Work collaboratively with engineers, fabricators, and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.

Adhere to workplace safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.

Skills & Experience Required

Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent qualification).

Proven experience as a Welder in a similar role.

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.

Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Physical fitness and ability to work in demanding environments.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience in mining, construction, manufacturing.

Additional welding certifications or trade licenses.

Forklift, EWP, or Confined Space tickets.
