The opportunity

Topweld General Engineering Pty Ltd, a leading provider of engineering services, is seeking experienced Pipe Fitter / Pipe Welders to join our team in Griffith, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of high-quality piping systems across a variety of industries.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate, install, and repair piping systems
• Perform welding, brazing, and other joining techniques to assemble and install piping components
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and deliverables
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the work performed
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Pipe Fitting or Pipe Welding, or equivalent industry experience
• Proven expertise in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work safely and comply with all relevant health and safety regulations
