Site or Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Subdivision

Location: Mackay, QLD
Job Type: Full-time permanent role
Salary: $100k-$120k + super + vehicle

About the Company

Our client is a respected family owned civil contractor based out of Mackay who are doing exceptional things within the land development space in the region.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an dynamic engineer to step into a dynamic role offering both challenge and growth. To assist in the delivery of key projects across the Mackay area and help to grow what is an already established business unit. Project locations are all within driving distance of Mackay so you will be home every evening with no need to work away.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work across a variety of subdivision, council & road jobs
• Work closely with the management team to effectively deliver subdivisions
• Ensure daily work activities are delegated efficiently at pre-start
• Monitor and report on the progress of projects and make adjustments as necessary
• Plan and schedule work, and allocate resources to meet project objectives
• Coordinate and participate in safety meetings and inspections

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• 1-2 years on site civil construction experience
• Degree qualified in civil engineering
• Previous subdivision experience advantageous
• Experience managing QA
• Knowledge of the local clientel and landscape of the region beneficial
• Experience managing multiple projects at once is advantageous
• Will consider relocation to the area if not a local
