Protech are looking for a Programs Systems / Quality Assurance Representative to support delivery of Kooralbyn and Oxenford intersection upgrades, primarily focus on Quality.

This role will be site based, with a split of approximately 50/50 site office to field work

Our client provides transport infrastructure solutions throughout Queensland, focusing primarily on the construction, maintenance and rehabilitation of the state's extensive road and bridge network.

This position would suit a post graduate civil engineer who is looking to gain experience & develop a career in the civil field.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Immediate start
• Casual role, fortnightly pay
• Duration 6 – 12 months
• 76 hour fortnight
• $42.95 – $48.34 p/h (inclusive of casual loading) depending on skills and experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with management of resources for projects to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist with programming and managing the short-term Works Program.
• Coordinate the activities of sub-contractors / suppliers and internal resources, to ensure smooth work flow in conjunction with Project Managers and Supervisors.
• Assist with identifying potential risks, proposed processes, and operational procedures prior to beginning of activities.
• Continually monitor and review operations throughout the life of the project in conjunction with Project Managers and Supervisors.
• Assess effectiveness and efficiency of activities and implement continuous improvement in consultation with Project Managers and Supervisors.
• Assist the Project Manager to identify and source suitable project resources.
• Support and assist with building cohesive, effective teams with assistance from project Supervisors.
• Mentor, coach and provide development opportunities for project staff.
• Establish and maintain effective communication across projects.
• Assist the estimating team(s) in the tendering and estimating phases for projects and or minor works.
• Assist in identifying training activities for field staff. Coordinate and or participate in performance review process for project staff.
• Assist in the development of Project Plans. Assist Project Managers as required to ensure efficient delivery of the works program.
• Manage and monitor product/supplier delivery and quality.

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Cert III in Civil Construction or higher (Desirable)
• Prior experience in Project Management or Supervision
• Construction Induction White Card
• Safety and Traffic Awareness
• Current Drivers licence with reliable vehicle
