Position Details
- Full-Time Permanent Position
- Classification: Registered Nurse Level 2 with salary range of: $100,064 - $105,123; per annum + Superannuation; or Health Professional Level 2 with a salary range of: $94,927 - $106,210; per annum + Superannuation

About your new role
As a Mental Health Clinician you will bring your professional expertise to engage with young people aged 12-25 and provide flexible, evidence-based support that aligns with their goals, values, and developmental stage. You will contribute to collaborative care planning, offer therapeutic interventions, and play an active role in transdisciplinary team practice that prioritises cultural safety, inclusion, and relational connection.
This role works alongside clinicians, peer workers, families, clinical partners, and community providers to deliver responsive, youth-led support. Clinicians will provide short- to medium-term interventions tailored to each young person's needs - including assessment, safety planning, individual sessions, group work (where relevant), and support to navigate transitions within the broader stepped care system.

What you will bring to the role
- Accredited registration with a relevant professional body (e.g AHPRA, AASW, ACA)
- Experience within youth mental health service delivery, including intake or assessment services
- Demonstrated understanding of the developmental needs of young people aged 12-25, including their social, emotional, and cognitive development, and the importance of engagement strategies that are youth-centred and trauma-informed.
- Demonstrated understanding of the developmental needs of young people aged 12-25, including the impact of mental health challenges on identity formation, education, relationships, and risk behaviours.
- Experience in trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally safe practice,including work with LGBTIQA+, neurodivergent and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people
- Experience collaborating with external stakeholders, such as headspace, CAMHS, primary care, education and AOD services
- Clinical care coordination and understanding of service navigation.

- Current Working with Children Check - required before commencement of work
- Accredited registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW, ACA)
- Current Australian drivers licence and access to a car
- Australian working rights
