About the Role
We are seeking several Mental Health Clinicians to come and join Amity Health in a variety of capacities from a part-time (0.4 FTE) to full time hours to join our team, based in a variety of areas including Albany, Narrogin (0.4 FTE) as well as one position covering the towns of Northam, Merredin and Moora. These roles offer flexible working arrangements which can be spread over a 5-day working week.
The position is suited to someone with excellent skills and 5+ years of experience.
About You
The organisation is looking for registered and experienced Mental Health Clinicians who enjoy and love what they do with their clients. This position is based under the Health Professionals and Support Services Award for Mental Health Clinicians, and experience is equivalent to a Level 3.1 to a Level 3.3.
As a person, you will hold deep values and integrity and be able to engender trust, empathy and accountability to go along with your business and therapeutic acumen.
Some of the key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the below:
Specialised Program Responsibilities
· Provide a range of assessment, care plans and counselling services to clients with mental health needs through telehealth, individual and group based sessions.
· Work in collaboration with the program’s Senior Mental Health Clinician and Mental Health Coordinator.
· Liaise collaboratively with a range of community stakeholders and agencies, such GPs, WACHS, and other mental health providers.
· Provision of Clinical Care Coordination Services (CCCS)
- Comprehensive initial and ongoing assessment, which must include mental health, drug and other substances, physical health and personal support needs required to engage with treatment and care and treatment planning.
- Measuring standardised treatment outcomes which should include patient-reported outcomes measures.
- Proactively managing clinical deterioration of Individuals.
- Providing health literacy and illness education to Individual, families, and carer
- Providing Individual with education on, and assistance in medication management.
- Facilitation specialist consultation, including supporting shared care arrangement as appropriate.
- CCCS is provided utilizing Individual Telephone/Virtual/Face to Face at both office and Outreach.
Generalised Program Responsibilities
· Plan and prioritise daily work according to patient bookings and administrative requirements.
· Contribute to the effective delivery of reportable data, by appropriate electronic client records.
· Contribute at all times to the provision of a safe and health work environment by observing and complying with the organisation’s policies and procedures.
Suitable candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:
· Tertiary qualifications in a mental health discipline and eligibility for relevant association registration.
· Proven ability to appropriately apply evidence based psychological interventions to client management in a primary health care setting.
· Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to function effectively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
· Current drivers licence; and
· Experience working in and with GP environments and client management.

The salary for this position will be dependent on experience of the individuals but will be in the range of $88,567 to $99,257.
