Boab Health Services is a not-for-profit, multidisciplinary primary health care service delivering allied health, mental health, and care coordination services throughout the Kimberley.

This is a unique and rare opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Professional (psychologist, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, Aboriginal mental health practitioner or social worker) to join our organisation delivering mental health services to the people of Broome and the surrounding communities.

About the role

This role will deliver tailored and holistic mental health services across the age range to individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health and wellbeing concerns and will provide services to Broome as well as outreach mental health services to remote Aboriginal communities in the West Kimberley. Servicing other communities may constitute up to 4 nights away at any one time. This role will work in partnership with other local health services, schools and other community organisations. About you

You will have post registration experience with evidence based psychological interventions. Your experience, compassion, and motivation to collaborate with Aboriginal people and in rural and remote mental health care will be highly regarded. You will have AHPRA registration (if applicable to your discipline) and relevant professional association membership.
