ForestOne, a leader in sustainable particleboard manufacturing, is seeking an experienced and proactive Preventative Maintenance Coordinator to support our busy site operations. This is a newly created role for you to really make your own
As the Preventative Maintenance Coordinator, you’ll report to the Site Maintenance Manager and play a key role in planning and scheduling maintenance across the site. You'll help maximise machinery uptime, develop preventative programs, and improve maintenance procedures ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe operations every day.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage preventative and predictive maintenance schedules
Allocate resources, materials, and tools for planned tasks
Maintain the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) and asset database
Support procurement of critical spare parts and ensure inventory accuracy
Promote safety, reliability, and performance through proactive planning
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and quality compliance
Collaborate closely with fitters, apprentices, contractors, and coordinators across the site
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
Trade-qualified (e.g., Fitter & Turner or Mechanical Fitter)
Hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy industry
Sound computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
Previous CMMS/database use or administration
Professional attitude, excellent communication and teamwork
Desirable:
Forklift, EWP, or confined space licences
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Proven ability to improve maintenance processes and asset reliability
