About the role

CVEM Security is seeking highly motivated and reliable Security Guards to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. These full-time, part-time and casual positions are responsible for providing security services at our client sites, ensuring the safety and protection of people, property and assets. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the secure operations of our business and contributing to the overall well-being of the community.

What you'll be doing

Conducting regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas to monitor for any suspicious activity or potential security breaches

Responding promptly and appropriately to emergency situations, incidents or alarms, and liaising with emergency services as required

Maintaining detailed records and reports of security-related activities, observations and incidents

Providing excellent customer service to clients, visitors and the general public

Adhering to all relevant security policies, procedures and legislative requirements

Collaborating with the wider security team to ensure consistent and effective security coverage

What we're looking for

A valid Security Guard licence and/or relevant security industry experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

A keen eye for detail and the ability to accurately observe and report on your surroundings

A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
